Back in 2016 I predicted that we will have the ability to purchase clothing virtually using a model of our own figure, allowing a consumer to see how the clothing truly fits on their own body.
The process of this would work is that you would have an app that can digitally take your dimensions and store the data. Once you visit a store you allow them access to your data and then you would be able to view the piece of clothing as it a fit on your body.
This would would help the apparel ecosystem by driving more purchases and reducing returns.
